Service Engineer - Weaving / Tufting

We’re Hiring! – Team Member – Service (Weaving / Tufting)Location:IndiaAbout the Role Join our Service Team and play a key role in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support for Vandewiele - Weaving machinery or Tufting machinery at customer sites. You’ll ensure smooth machine performance, uphold service excellence, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction across the textile manufacturing sector.⚙️ Key Responsibilities Install and commission Weaving or Tufting machinery at customer sites. Attend breakdowns, warranty, and AMC service calls as assigned. Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule. Maintain detailed service reports on work done, parts replaced, and feedback. Follow safety standards, SOPs, and company quality guidelines. Collaborate with peers and Team Lead for complex installations or escalations. Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, logistics, and support. Participate in technical training and skill upgrades. Share field feedback on machine performance and customer requirements.Qualifications Master’s / Bachelor’s / Diploma in Textile, mechanical & Electrical Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience in Textile Machinery ServiceDesired Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Weaving or Tufting machinery Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and handle site responsibilities Familiar with service documentation, MS Office, and ERP tools
