Safety Engineer

Location: Mumbai, MaharashtraExperience: 1–2 YearsQualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & SafetySalary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per monthJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Safety Steward to support our site safety operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety standards, assist in implementing safety policies, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies. - Conduct routine safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. - Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential hazards and unsafe practices. - Support the Safety Officer/Manager in maintaining safety documentation and records. - Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all site personnel. - Report and assist in investigating accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. - Help implement emergency preparedness and response plans. - Promote safety awareness among workers through training and on-site communication.Requirements:- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety (mandatory). - 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial safety roles. - Good understanding of safety rules, hazard identification, and risk assessment. - Strong communication and observation skills. - Ability to work in a team and maintain discipline on site.
