Zener Maritime Solutions ensures 24/7 global support for clients and their ships. · Execute basic & detailed engineering for shipboard electrical systems (newbuild & retrofit). · Prepare and review electrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, SLDs, and MTOs . · Conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection studies using ETAP . · Ensure compliance with Class Rules, SOLAS regulations, and FFS (Fire Fighting Systems) requirements . · Provide engineering support for cable sizing, breaker selection, relays, starter panels, and sequential logic circuits. · Support retrofit/upgrade projects (BWTS, scrubbers, automation). · Review 3D models using Navisworks for electrical integration. · Liaise with classification societies, clients, and multidisciplinary teams for approvals. Guide project teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical design deliverables . Qualifications · 4-10 Years’ Experience (Marine Engineering / Consultants are Preferred) · Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering / M. Tech in Power System Engineering · Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical), ETAP, and Dialux (Lighting Software) · Experience with 3D Modelling software (Plant 3D) and Navisworks for layout/model reviews · Strong knowledge of Class Rules for newbuild ocean-going and inland vessels · Good understanding of SOLAS and FFS rules for marine safety and compliance · Proficiency in ETAP (load flow, short circuit, fault analysis) · Advanced skills in MS Excel (tabulations, load lists) and MS Word (reports) · Familiarity with PLC basics, automation, and sequential logic circuits · Ability to read and interpret SLDs, circuit diagrams, and P&IDs · Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail · Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams · Positive attitude, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in teams
