Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a Tech Lead who’s not just great at coding, but also at leading people, solving complex problems, and building systems that scale.What You’ll Do • Write clean, efficient Golang code and guide your team to do the same. • Work with the product team to understand new features and projects, and figure out the best way to build them. • Design scalable systems that can handle millions of requests without breaking a sweat. • Work with Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to keep things running smoothly. • Be the gatekeeper of code quality – conduct detailed PR reviews and ensure best practices are followed. • Take part in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to keep everyone aligned. • Keep tech documentation up to date so no one is left guessing how things work. • Distribute work smartly within your team and make sure things get delivered on time. • Keep an eye on system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and jump in quickly when incidents happen. • Help improve our CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell).Must Have • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang. • Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems. • Good understanding of Kafka. • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus. • Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53). • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB. • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry. • Can write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.Why You’ll Love Working Here • Build high-impact fintech products used by millions. • Influence architecture and tech culture from the ground up. • Work with a passionate, collaborative, and fast-moving team. • Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud, observability, and workflow tools.About Kissht: Kissht, a Great Place to Work® certified organization, is a consumer-first credit app that is transforming the landscape of consumer credit.
