Design Engineer

About the Role:- The Design Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualization, development, and optimization of water filtration systems. This role involves mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and compliance with environmental and safety standards. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with innovative thinking to deliver high-performance, cost-effective filtration solutions.Responsibilities:- Design and develop water filtration products including pressure vessels, filter cartridges, membranes, and housing units. Create detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks or similar software. Conduct fluid dynamics simulations and performance testing to optimize flow rates, pressure drops, and contaminant removal. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and scalability. Support product lifecycle management including upgrades, cost reduction initiatives, and sustainability improvements. Provide technical support to customers and suppliers, including occasional site visits. Maintain and update design documentation, BOMs, and test reports.Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering CAD experience Proficient in Solidworks
