Role Overview We are looking for anAcademic Advisorto support and guide learners enrolled in theDoctorate of Education (EdD) and Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)programs. This role involvesacademic advising, research guidance, content oversight, and collaboration with facultyto ensure a high-quality doctoral learning experience for working professionals. Key Responsibilities Academic Advising Monitor student progress through adata-driven advising approach Conduct1:1 and group counseling sessionswith students Identify academic challenges and provide appropriate support resources Address academic queries via calls, email, or discussion forums Guide learners inresearch methodologies and doctoral journey Content Management Manage and reviewdoctoral program contentto ensure accuracy and alignment with curriculum Develop learning materials such assyllabi, assignments, and grading rubrics Conduct quality checks for assignments, projects, and live sessions Curriculum & Instruction Provide expert input oncurriculum development and instructional design Ensure program relevance and alignment with academic standards Live Sessions & Workshops Conductlive sessions, lectures, and workshopson: Research methodology Quantitative & qualitative research Data analysis and academic writing Evaluate the quality of live sessions based on predefined parameters Collaboration Work closely withfaculty, academic teams, and internal stakeholders Assist in reviewing and interviewing potentialdissertation support staff Stay updated with trends and best practices inonline higher education Candidate Requirements Experience 8–10 years of academic experience , preferably in doctoral programs Experience inguiding M.Phil / PhD dissertations Strong background inresearch methodologies and academic advising Research Expertise Strong knowledge of: Quantitative & qualitative research methodologies Research design and academic writing Data analysis techniques Tools Experience with research tools such as: R Commander Smart PLS Education PhD / DBA in Management, Education, or related fields Preferred: Experience working inhigher education or online learning environments Certifications ininstructional design or academic advising Key Skills Academic advising & mentoring Research methodology expertise Curriculum development Strong communication & presentation skills Analytical thinking & problem solving Stakeholder collaboration Proficiency with online learning platforms Diversity & Inclusion AtupGrad , we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
