Position Title- Campus Counsellor Department- Outreach and Admissions Location- University, Mumbai Campus Reports to -Pro Vice-Chancellor Level 2 Reporting- Co-Founder and Executive PresidentJob Summary The Campus Counsellor plays a pivotal role in driving student admissions through impactful on-campus engagement. This position manages daily operations for student recruitment, ensuring every visitor student, parents, or school partner experiences UNIVERSITY at its best. The ideal candidate will be a people-centric professional with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple touchpoints — from campus tours to counselling sessions — ensuring every lead has a clear, positive journey toward admission.Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Conversion and Recruitment Support Drive on-ground conversion of leads into enrolments through proactive engagement and personalized counselling. Track leads, follow-ups, and admission conversions through CRM tools and reports. Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure all student documentation and processes are completed smoothly. 2. Campus Tours and Visitor Experience Plan and conduct campus tours, open houses, and other recruitment events that highlight UNIVERSITY programs, infrastructure, and student life. Coordinate logistics and presentation materials to ensure every campus event is professional, informative, and well-organized. 3. Student and Parent Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-campus visitors. Address inquiries, handle concerns, and build confidence in the UNIVERSITY experience. Maintain warm, professional relationships with students and families through their admission journey. 4. Cross-Department Coordination Liaise with outreach, admissions, and operations teams to ensure smooth visitor flow and event execution. Coordinate with facilities, housekeeping, and hospitality services to maintain high visitor satisfaction standards. Support the Head of Recruitment in executing strategies and achieving overall admission goals. 5. Reporting and Process Management Maintain daily and weekly reports on campus visits, events, and conversion performance. Track operational expenses and assist in cost-effective event management. Provide inputs to enhance the on-campus recruitment process and visitor experience.Skills, Qualities, and Experience Category DetailsTechnical Skills Experience in sales, hospitality, or customer relationship management. Familiarity with CRM tools and Excel-based tracking/reporting. Skills and Qualities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and coordination abilities. Customer-oriented mindset with an eye for detail. Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations calmly. Experience 8–12 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as admissions, hospitality, events, or sales. Prior experience in educational institutions or service industries is preferred.Additional Information Work Schedule : Full-time; requires flexibility for weekends or extended hours during peak admission periods. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, you may be assigned other duties or projects as required, depending on your expertise and the evolving needs of the university. Such tasks will be within the scope of your role and may be directed to you at the discretion of the university.
