Manager - Quality

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. Responsibilities • Should have knowledge of implementation of Quality management plans at project site• Should have experience of end-to-end project construction cycle and should be well versed with industry-specific technical and technological knowledge. • Preparation, approval and implementation of the QA/QC plan / Quality manual including Annual quality budget, Quality training for new sites. • Ensure that employees & contractor adhere to company quality norms, regulations and quality work practices. • Improve system, identify skills, training and capabilities needed. Provide guidance and training to Supervisors/Engineers. • Responsible for conducting periodic Quality audits / checks at sites. Ensure standardization of audit & inspection process. • Evaluation of all new contractors, vendors and suppliers at sites. Constant review of all contractor QC reports, tests and inspection results. • To ensure minimization of material/ work rejection and ensure minimization of rework at sites due to substandard quality work. • Recommend appropriate corrective action to quality problems in the assigned area. • Provide input to management on process or procedural system improvements. • This role involves extensive travel to project sites.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering7+ years' relevant work experienceHighly organized with excellent attention to detail
