The role requires strong instructional design expertise, experience working with U.S. curriculum standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and curriculum leads.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong writing skills, storyboard development capability, media planning expertise, and a clear understanding of standards-aligned lesson development.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Review and Quality AssuranceReview and write (if required) lessons developed by SMEs for instructional flow, clarity, and alignment to U.S. K–12 standardsIdentify instructional gaps and recommend improvementsEnsure alignment between learning objectives, content, practice, and assessmentMedia Planning and StoryboardingIdentify media requirements, including videos, graphics, and interactive componentsEnsure media elements align with instructional intent and learner needsContent Development SupportCreate lesson-specific documentation required for production workflowsDevelop audio scripts and instructional text for multimedia componentsAdd captions and ensure proper citations and formattingConduct quality checks for grammar, tone, and clarityImplement internal and client review commentsAI-Enabled WorkflowUse AI tools to support content review, script drafting, and media ideationValidate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, instructional quality, and standards alignmentCollaborationWork closely with curriculum leads, SMEs, and production teamsCommunicate proactively regarding clarifications, revisions, and timelinesParticipate in virtual review and alignment sessionsQualificationsRequiredPost-Graduate degree in English, Literature, Science, Social Studies, Math, or related field3-5 years of experience in K–12 instructional designExperience working with U.S.-based curriculum clientsFamiliarity with U.S. K–12 educational standards and standards alignmentStrong writing, visualization, and storyboard review skillsUnderstanding of accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG principles) for digital learningProficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Awareness of various media modalities and eLearning toolsWorking knowledge of AI tools for instructional supportAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environmentPreferredExperience with digital authoring platforms such as Articulate RiseExperience in standards mapping and digital lesson production workflows
