Tendering Specialist & GEM Portal Management

Job Summary:The GEM Operator Staff is responsible for managing and operating the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal for the organization. This role involves vendor registration, product listing, bid/tender management, order processing, and compliance with government procurement policies. The operator ensures smooth and effective execution of procurement activities through the GEM portal while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:1. GeM Portal Management:· Register the company on the GeM portal and update organizational details.· Maintain the product and service catalog, ensuring accuracy and compliance.· Upload new products/services and update specifications as required filling Gov Tender's.2. Tender & Bidding Management:· Identify and participate in relevant bids, tenders, and Reverse Auctions on the GeM platform.· Prepare and submit bid documents in coordination with management.· Track bid status and manage required documentation for contract fulfilment.3. Order Processing & Execution:· Manage and process government orders received through the GeM portal.· Coordinate with internal teams for order fulfilment, dispatch, and invoicing.· Ensure timely delivery of goods/services as per contract terms.4. Vendor & Customer Communication:· Liaise with government buyers and procurement officers for smooth transactions.· Address queries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.· Maintain professional communication with stakeholders.5. Compliance & Documentation:· Ensure adherence to GeM guidelines and government procurement policies.· Maintain records of transactions, contracts, and invoices for audit purposes.· Stay updated on the latest amendments and policies on the GeM portal.6. Reporting & Analysis:· Generate reports on sales, bids, and overall portal activities.· Provide insights on market trends and opportunities in government procurement.· Suggest improvements for operational efficiency and competitive advantage.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
