We work with CMOs and marketing leaders at fast-growing startups and large enterprises in the US and globally. We are now building a high-signal community of senior marketing leaders – CMOs, Heads of Growth, Digital, Content, and Performance Marketing – and are hiring a Community Lead to own this end-to-end.This is not a social media role. This is a relationship, programming, and execution role.What This Role Owns (End-to-End)1. Community Strategy & PositioningDefine the purpose, positioning, and value proposition of the Pepper Marketing Leaders communityIdentify core personas – CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Heads of Growth, Content, SEO, DigitalDecide what makes this community worth showing up for – insight, access, learning, and relationshipsWork closely with Pepper leadership on themes like AI in marketing, SEO to GEO shift, brand vs performance, content ops, etc.2. Circle.co Community Ownership (This is a Good To Have)Own the full setup and daily management of the community on Circle.coDesign the community structure – spaces, cohorts, themes, discussion formatsDrive engagement via:Weekly discussion promptsExpert AMAsCase study breakdownsThought leadership dropsEnsure the community feels curated, not noisyTrack engagement, active members, retention, and participation quality3. Podcasts, Webinars & Virtual ProgrammingOwn Pepper’s Marketing Leaders Podcast end-to-end:Guest identification and outreach (CMOs, operators, founders)Episode planning, prep, and schedulingWorking with the content and video team for production and distributionPlan and run monthly webinars / roundtables for the community:Topic ideationSpeaker coordinationLive moderation and follow-upsEnsure all programming feels peer-led, not sales-led4. Offline & High-Touch EngagementsPlan and manage small, high-quality offline meetups:CMO dinnersRoundtables at major US eventsPepper-hosted private sessionsCoordinate logistics, guest lists, and post-event follow-upsWork with Pepper’s marketing and leadership team when travel to the US is required5. Content & Distribution for the CommunityWork with Pepper’s content team to:Repurpose podcasts, webinars, and discussions into high-signal contentCreate newsletters or community digestsHighlight member insights and operator storiesEnsure content feels operator-first, not brand-heavy6. Relationship Building & Member ExperienceBuild 1:1 relationships with key community membersActively onboard new members and set context on how to get valueIdentify power members and turn them into contributors and championsEnsure every senior leader who joins feels seen, heard, and respected7.
