Chief Manager -IFRS & US GAAP

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with expertise in IFRS 17 and US GAAP within the Insurance sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IFRS 17 frameworks in a complex financial environment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent problem-solving capabilities, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Roles & responsibilities:-Lead the implementation and compliance of IFRS 17 and US GAAP within the Financial Reporting team.Develop comprehensive financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS 17 and US GAAP standards.Provide technical guidance and training to the financial reporting team on IFRS 17 principles and US GAAP requirements.Analyze and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Work closely with actuarial, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment of accounting policies and procedures.Prepare and present reports to senior management on key financial metrics, highlighting risks and recommending corrective actions.Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance and identify potential impacts on financial reporting.
