Specialist - Catastrophe Modelling

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Catastrophe team at Marsh Mc Lennan. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.We will count on you to:Understand the exposure data, assess data quality, make necessary improvements (incl. geocoding) and assumptions for modeling in RMS/AIR/RQE and maintain adequate documentation.Apply policy conditions to the data and produce reports that highlight changes in exposure across various timeframes and the associated impact of catastrophe model results.Run the exposure in various Cat Modelling models and reporting the results at various geographical resolutions as well as for the relevant lines of business within the client's portfolio.To interpret the change in loss results due to modelling parameters and client exposure changeAnalyse how the distribution of results and relevant risk measures change due to the application of various proposed reinsurance alternatives and/or changes in model/data assumptions.What you need to have: 2 to 4 years of experience in Catastrophe Modeling in providing CAT analytics at account or portfolio levelDegree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer-Science/Engineering (any stream) or related fieldsProficiency in at least one of the CAT Modeling softwares RMS/ AIR/ RQEExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsAttention to details.
