Known for its engineering excellence and modern construction practices, the organization has played a vital role in shaping India’s public infrastructure landscape.Title: Liaisoning HeadReports To: Director CommercialLocation: HO with regional/project-level collaboration(Ahmedabad)Function: LiaisoningType: Full-Time / PermanentRole PurposeThis role is responsible for building and managing relationships with key decision-makers in Mantralaya, Sachivalaya, Public Sector Units, and Planning & Finance Departments to enable the organization’s access to upcoming projects, government initiatives, and policy updates. The incumbent will also help in strategic intelligence gathering for tender pipelines, budget allocations, and capital projects.Key Responsibilities:1. Government Relationship Management• Maintain strong working relationships with senior bureaucrats, ministers, IAS officers, secretaries, and department heads in Mantralaya, Sachivalaya, and central/state ministries.• Regularly visit government offices to stay abreast of upcoming opportunities, schemes, policy changes, and budget announcements.• Act as a single point of contact between the company and key government offices for approvals, discussions, and project alignment.2. Opportunity Identification & Strategic Inputs• Track government budgets, tender bulletins, policy papers, and investment plans to proactively identify business opportunities.• Work closely with the Business Development team to prepare pre-bid intelligence, competitor tracking, and background reports.• Liaise with departments such as NHAI, MMRDA, PWD, Urban Development, Rural Development, Water Resources, and Industrial Development Corporations to gain insights on upcoming projects.3. Project Facilitation & Escalation Management• Ensure timely movement of files, approvals, and clearances through consistent follow- ups and on-ground liaison.• Escalate bottlenecks to higher authorities and facilitate interventions through appropriate channels.• Support early-stage project discussions, MOU signings, and coordination with government partners.4. Advocacy & Representation• Represent the company at industry forums, policy consultation meetings, andgovernment outreach programs.• Build visibility and credibility for the company with key influencers in the public sector ecosystem.• Facilitate company delegations, presentations, and visits with government bodies.5. Documentation & Reporting• Maintain records of all meetings, correspondence, approvals, and discussions.• Provide regular intelligence reports, weekly updates, and government movement summaries to senior management.Desired Profile• Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Public Administration, Political Science, Engineering, or Law.• Experience: 20 - 25 years in government liaisoning or public affairs, ideally within infrastructure, construction, EPC, or public sector consulting companies.• Networks: Strong working relationships within relevant government departments at the state and central level.Skills:- Excellent political and bureaucratic networking skills - Deep understanding of tendering, government procurement processes, and project pipeline development - Strong communication, discretion, and persuasion skills - Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language (as per region) - Integrity, patience, and ability to work in complex political environments
