Senior BIM Technician - Mechanical

Role SummaryTo work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as a MEP Revit Modeller within the WSP in India in our Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.Responsibilities- Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models - Clash detection and clash resolution - Create Parametric Revit Families - Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models - Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations - Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualizations - Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D modelKey Competencies / Skills:Experience in the use of the following software is essential:- REVIT MEP - AutoCAD (2D and 3D) - NavisworksExperience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:- Autodesk 3ds MAX - MS Excel - MS WordThe candidate must:- Have good English communication skills - Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level. - Be computer literate. - Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months to the UK Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software. - Ability to plan and manage his/her workload Lateral thinking - Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being usedDesired Skills- Health & Safety - Number of training days - Utilisation - Client (internal & external) feedback - Accuracy of work - Meeting deadlines - Achievement of individual business objectivesQualifications- Diploma in Mechanical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications - 4+ year's production experience in design, drafting and engineering with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record - Minimum 3 years’ experience with Revit MEP
