Position: WAF Consultant (Web Application Firewall – Implementation)Experience: 5+ YearsLocation: MumbaiCore Skill: Web Application Firewall (WAF) – Implementation & ManagementDrop your cv-8668072276Salary :15 - 23 lpaKey Responsibilities- Install, configure, monitor, and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as F5, AWS WAF, Cloudflare, and Imperva. - Troubleshoot WAF-related issues and ensure optimal performance and stability. - Independently handle and manage ticketing tools such as Symphony, CDC, and Google SOAR. - Perform daily, weekly, and monthly health checks for WAF and other network security devices. - Coordinate and communicate with OEMs, vendors, partners, end users, and clients regarding WAF-related issues and queries. - Track activities and update tickets for incidents and service requests related to WAF. - Analyze recurring WAF-related incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.-Technical Skills- Strong proficiency in WAF configuration, management, and optimization. - Good understanding of web security protocols including HTTP/HTTPS. - Knowledge of OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.). - Ability to create, customize, and enforce security policies and rulesets for web applications. - Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.Analytical & Security Skills- Ability to monitor and analyze network traffic to detect suspicious or malicious activities. - Experience in incident response and forensic analysis during security events. - Regular monitoring and analysis of WAF security logs to proactively identify threats.
