Company Overview :The Goodfellows, a companionship for-profit company dedicated to addressing elderlyloneliness, seeks interns to engage with seniors and provide companionship whilegaining valuable experience across multiple departments in and around Mumbai.Internship Details:Position: Goodfellows InternLocation: Fort, MumbaiDuration: 6-month, 9-month, 12-month, or full-time.Working Days: Monday to SaturdayWork Hours: 10 AM to 6 PM (Flexible mornings for college students, subject todiscussion)Paid InternshipResponsibilities:Engaging seniors, offering companionship, and contributing to various departmentaltasks.We at the Goodfellows offer a Two fold internship, which is basically working for asocial cause as well as doing the Departmental work which covers 8 departmentsholistically leading to an overall development of the personality and not just the skills.1. Your visits will encompassa range of activities, from assisting with technology and accompanying them to medicalappointments, to enjoying leisurely walks and heartfelt conversations.Our internship program is designed to serve as a platform for candidates to showcasetheir abilities and dedication. It offers a structured opportunity for individuals to gainvaluable experience and, based on their performance and commitment during theinternship, we may consider them for permanent job positions within our organisation.Immediate joiners preferred.Department wise responsibilities As HR & Training Intern- Design processes that are true to company culture - Identify gaps in human capital - Pitch innovative processes to create a progressive company culture - Pitch ideas for maintaining empathy as the central company offering - Helping refine the training program - Heavy recruitmentAs a Marketing Intern- Create and implement innovative marketing techniques - Attend and contribute to the marketing pitch meetings - Coordinate and run marketing campaigns - Contribute to the creative content development and presentations - Assist in Social Media Marketing - Editing content with photographs, Blogs, Videos, etc - Mentorship from marketing expertsAs a Finance intern- Understand real life finance concepts applicable to fundraising, valuation, ESOP's, - managing working capital etc - Attend and contribute towards the weekly finance meetings - Attend meetings on fundraising and interface with investors - Help the founder in generating documents for investment fundraising Understand and - assist in proper bookkeeping - Mentorship by finance expertsAs a Psychology intern- Helping refine the training program - Design processes for the mental health of the elderly and the employees - Understanding the behaviour patterns of elderly in depth and work towards creating a more wholesome experience for the Grandpals. - Observe learning behaviours through discussion and work on documenting the observations - Pitch ideas for maintaining the emotional bandwidth of Goodfellows - Brainstorm the observations and document the finding.As an Operations intern- Furthering business development & convert business inquiries - Design processes for onboarding Grandpals - Participate in meetings discussing feedback from Grandpals with the team - Pitch ideas to enhance services offered by GoodFellows - Resolving Grandpal's problems and looking after Grandpal's queries. - Collecting and processing data on trends and competition - Coordinating between Grandpals and GoodFellowsAs an Events intern- Planning & execution of tasks relating to large scale events - Pitching towards unique and fun bi-monthly events - Coordination with vendors and with team members - Time management Ideation + Execution of wholesome events - Coordinating w Media Team + Photography/Videography - Handle and Approach Collaborators - Maintaining and updating accountsAs a Legal intern- Ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding the rights of seniors, and facilitating ethical practices within our organization. - Assist in paperwork and legal documentation. - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with external partners, ensuring the legal protection of the organization. - Conducting legal research to stay updated on changes in legislation that may impact the organization's operations. - Handling legal inquiries and providing guidance to other departments on legal implications in their activitiesAs a Business Development intern- Help find new business opportunities by researching potential clients and partners. - Assist in preparing presentations and proposals for meetings with new clients or partners. - Support the team in maintaining relationships with existing clients and ensuring they are happy with our services. - Work with the marketing team to help come up with ideas to reach more seniors who need companionship. - Research market trends and what our competitors are doing to help us improve. - Attend meetings and events to represent The Goodfellows and help make new connections. - Help prepare reports on our business development activities.Qualifications Required :- Passion for working with seniors and contributing to their well-being.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both Grandpals(seniors) and team members.- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams.- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.- Basic understanding of the respective field for each department (Finance, Marketing,HR, Psychology, Events, Legal, Operations, Business Development).- Prior experience or knowledge in the relevant department is a plus but not mandatory.- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a social cause while gaining practical experience.- Immediate availability is preferred.To Apply :Send your resume and a brief cover letter to careers@We will give priority to people who send project/portfolio of their work relevant to thedepartment they’re applying for.We look forward to hearing from you!
