We help financial institutions translate challenges into opportunities, building stronger, more agile, and future-ready businesses.We are looking for a “Intern” who will complement to the growth journey of this initiative.Role Overview: -The Intern will work closely under the guidance of the Risk Lead and support the firm in activities related to risk research, risk model development, and business-side components of building a risk management solution. This role is designed for fresh graduates who aspire to build their career in the Risk domain.Key Responsibilities Assist in research for Risk Management and Risk Modeling across the BFSI sector. Support the development of the firm’s Risk products through research, documentation, workpapers and analysis. Contribute to the preparation of regulatory requirement studies, risk frameworks, and related documentation. Prepare reports, presentations, and structured analysis under the direction of the Risk Lead. Conduct industry and market research across banks, HFCs, NBFCs, MFIs. Support the creation of business requirements and other documents required for risk solution development (non-technical). Coordinate internally with the project team on research, deliverables, and planning. Participate in client interactions during product demos whenever required. Stay updated on key developments in the BFSI domain and risk management landscape.Requirements Strong communication skills - written and verbal. Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to structure research clearly. Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment. Strong problem-solving and writing skills Ability to multitask and work on assignments with accountability.Qualification Bachelor’s degree (Commerce or related fields) graduating in 2025. Candidates pursuing FRM or demonstrating a strong interest in the Risk domain will have an added advantage.Experience Fresher or 6 months - 1 year of experience in the Risk/BFSI Prior exposure or internship experience in the Risk/BFSI domain will be considered an added advantage.StipendWill be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and capabilities.Please note:Interns will be considered for a full-time role after completing three months of internship, subject to satisfactory performance.Joining Dates:ImmediatelyAthena Advisors offers a vibrant and collaborative work culture where individuals can grow, innovate and play a key role in the company’s journey towards success.
