Head of Events

Job Title: Production Head - Event Management Location: Andheri West, Mumbai Industry: Events, Experiential Marketing, Activations, BTL Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Event Industry Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Production Head to lead the production and execution of events for our growing event management company. The ideal candidate must come from the events industry with a proven track record of delivering high-quality events across various formats and scales. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end event production – from planning and setup to on-ground execution and closure. Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of all events. Maintain a strong vendor network and ensure cost-effective procurement and production practices. Negotiate vendor contracts and rates to achieve optimal margins and top-quality output . Conduct site recces and risk assessments ; develop detailed production plans and timelines . Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards across all event executions. Manage production budgets , ensuring delivery within defined timelines and cost limits . Train and mentor the production team and on-ground crew to maintain high operational standards. Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of experience in event production within the events/experiential marketing industry . Strong vendor base and excellent negotiation skills . In-depth knowledge of event production elements – staging, sound, lighting, fabrication, permissions, logistics, etc. Excellent leadership, communication , and project management capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously . Preferred Qualifications: Candidates from reputed event agencies will be preferred. Well-connected within the local and national vendor ecosystem .
