Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations. Coordinate with local consultants, tax advisors, and statutory bodies to ensure timely statutory filings and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, including preparation of audit schedules, responses to queries, and resolution of audit issues. Maintain strong oversight of GL accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Partner with internal teams (FP&A, tax, fixed assets, operations) to ensure accurate accounting and reporting. Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex or non‑standard transactions. Support group reporting requirements, intercompany accounting, and consolidation support as required. Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and accounting processes to ensure audit readiness. Proactively identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities across entity‑level accounting activities.Who we are looking for-8+ years of experience in managing compliances and Local GAAP Accounts, strong in accounting, intercompany, internal controls. Ideally: Experience in TelecomsGood knowledge of IFRS and experience with GAAP Accounting.Knowledge of lease accounting (IFRS 16) and regulatory reportingProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.Experience working in finalization of accounts, ownership in compliances and local AuditsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and financial teams.
