Great Eastern Shipping is hiring for the role for Procurement Executive (Buyer) who will be a part of the Material Procurement Team.About the RoleWe are looking for candidates with 5-8 years relevant work experience in the Procurement Department of a Shipping Company for the Procurement Executive (Buyer) role.ResponsibilitiesTo manage end to end support of Procurement for allocated ships which involves:Enquire and seek quotations from registered vendors.Compare quotations once received and make proposals for approval.Issue Purchase orders.Follow-up Purchase orders till delivery.Invoice booking into the system and passing to accounts.Support any queries in the above process from Enquire to payment.Comply to Company defined Procurement Policies and Procedure.Address any special assignments as allocated by Line Manager. QualificationsCandidates with graduation in any field from a reputed institute.Required SkillsCandidate should possess working knowledge/experience in SAP system.Good communication skills.Experience in use of ERP systems.Proficient with MS office (Word/Excel/Power-point).Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary reflecting experience and qualifications.
