Position: Country Development Manager – USA Trade LaneLocation: MumbaiReporting To: Chief Sales & Marketing OfficerPosition Overview:-The primary objective of this role is to drive growth and profitability for the USA trade lane. Reporting to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, the successful candidate will focus on expanding business volumes, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering sustainable gross margins for both USA imports and exports.Key Responsibilities:-- Trade Lane Development: Lead expansion across key markets, define growth strategies, and onboard new agents to expand our network across the East and West Coasts.- Sales & Strategy: Provide market intelligence and actionable data to management to enhance conversion rates and pipeline potential.- Business Development: Build a nationwide pipeline and drive customer acquisition initiatives.- Account Management: Manage strategic key accounts and ensure service excellence.- Marketing: Develop trade lane-specific promotional materials and collaborate with internal stakeholders on competitive positioning.- Performance Monitoring: Track monthly metrics (volume, yield, gross margins) and implement continuous improvement plans.- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with global agents and internal operations to ensure seamless service delivery.Required Skills & Experience- Minimum of 10 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a proven track record in growing international trade lanes (preferably USA).- Deep expertise in air and ocean freight operations and the USA corridor.- Strong commercial acumen and an established market network.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Educational Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.- Postgraduate degree or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or business management is preferred.Relevant Candidates kindly share your update CV long with Photograph with us on Thanks & RegardsSiddhartha Shukla
