This role sits at the centre of that.What This Role IsThis is a Director-level mandate with full operational authority over the institutional, regulatory, government, and legal interface of Kropbook. You work directly with the Founder. Every external advisor across law, tax, audit, and consulting operates under your unified strategy. You build systems. You do not manage situations as they arrive.What You Will OwnGovernment and institutional engagement across Income Tax Department, GST authorities, Ministry of Agriculture, APMC bodies, MCA, SEBI, and RBI. Structured, strategic, and outcome-driven at every level that matters.Tax strategy and litigation command across a multi-entity, multi-state operation. Positions designed for long-term institutional strength. Complete ownership of litigation strategy from departmental proceedings through CIT(A), ITAT, and High Court with one unified approach and no contradictions anywhere.Regulatory architecture covering direct tax, indirect tax, Companies Act, FEMA, and all sector-specific agricultural and agri-finance regulation. Built before it is needed, not assembled in response to a notice.Audit-ready documentation where every transaction is traceable and every position is provable before any question is raised.Banking credibility and capital markets readiness maintained consistently across all financial institutional relationships. Full command over all external advisors. One strategy. No fragmentation.Who Belongs Here :You come from one of three backgrounds. Each is valued equally.Senior public policy professional from central or state government ( Agri / Infra / Taxation / Science and technology ( AI ) Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), ICAI — mandatory with 6 to 10 years in tax strategy, regulatory affairs, or multi-entity institutional advisory. You have directed appellate proceedings at ITAT or High Court level, personally or as the strategic lead behind external counsel.Tax Advocate with active High Court Bar enrolment, specifically Bombay, Delhi, Madras, or the relevant High Court, with 5 to 10 years of ITAT or High Court practice in tax matters. Note: High Court enrolment is separate from State Bar Council registration and must be confirmed. CA background is a strong advantage.IRS, IAS, or senior government officer at Joint Commissioner level or above. You know how institutions think from the inside. That knowledge is irreplaceable and this role is built around it. Retired and transitioning officers are strongly encouraged to apply.Across all Four, what matters is real outcomes at institutional level, the ability to design systems rather than follow them, and comfort operating across tax, law, regulation, and government affairs simultaneously with ownership.Note : Absolutely not suited for compliance-only professionals, those whose government access is informal without structured outcomes, or candidates who have never designed an institutional system from the ground up.What Kropbook OffersDirect Founder access.
