Logistics & Freight OptimizationAbility to control and reduce freight cost as a % of sales/shipment valueStrong experience in route planning and logistics efficiency improvementCapability to negotiate transport rates and manage vendor contractsFocus on reducing packaging cost per order without compromising safetyExposure to packaging innovation and cost-saving ideas2. Warehouse Financial & Cost ManagementShould be able to manage warehouse P&LMonitor all warehouse costs and ensure operations run within budget3. Manpower & Capability DevelopmentExperience in manpower planning across multiple warehousesAbility to hire and negotiate with manpower contractorsFocus on training warehouse teams to improve efficiency and reduce errors4. Reporting & MIS GovernanceStrong focus on accurate and timely MIS reportingAbility to handle and review reconciliation reports (inventory, operations, etc.)Candidate should be data-driven and comfortable with dashboards and reports5. Strategic Coordination & GovernanceAct as a bridge between Head Office and warehousesEnsure smooth coordination and quick issue resolutionConduct regular warehouse visits and auditsIdentify operational gaps and drive process improvements6. Inventory Control & Warehouse GovernanceEnsure physical inventory matches system inventoryMaintain discipline on cycle counts and stock accuracyTake action on:Near-expiry stockSlow-moving / non-moving inventoryUnsellable stock (liquidation support)7. Warehouse Expansion & InfrastructureExperience in setting up new warehouses from scratchStrong understanding of warehouse layout and space utilizationAbility to do capacity planning and monthly forecasting8.
