Chemistry professional to join our Product Development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, reformulating, and improving personal care products in line, regulatory standards, and brand philosophy.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and reformulate skincare, haircare, and essential oil-based products.Conduct ingredient research, compatibility studies, and stability testing.Perform lab trials, batch documentation, and scale-up coordination with manufacturing.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (BIS, FDA, etc.).Maintain detailed R&D documentation and technical records.Coordinate with procurement for raw material sourcing and vendor evaluation.Conduct sensory and performance evaluations of formulations.Work closely with the team for new product development.Troubleshoot formulation and production-related issues.Required QualificationsM.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic / Analytical / Cosmetic Chemistry preferred).5-7 years of similar experience in cosmetics/personal care product developmentHands-on experience in formulation of emulsions, serums, oils, shampoos, or creams.Knowledge of preservatives, surfactants, emulsifiers, and natural actives.Understanding of stability studies and quality control parameters.Familiarity with GMP and cosmetic regulatory requirements.Required SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHands-on laboratory expertiseDocumentation & reporting skillsUnderstanding of clean/natural product formulationsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred SkillsExperience with essential oils and aromatherapy formulationsKnowledge of natural preservatives and plant-based activesExposure to scale-up and pilot batch production
