Job Title: EXIM ManagerLocation: MumbaiDepartment: Supply Chain / CommercialRole PurposeTo manage end-to-end export-import operations, ensure regulatory compliance, optimize logistics costs, and enable smooth international trade transactions.Key Responsibilities1. Export-Import OperationsHandle complete documentation for exports & imports (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, LC documents, etc.)Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transportersEnsure timely dispatch and clearance of shipments2. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with DGFT, Customs, FEMA, GST, and RBI regulationsManage IEC, RCMC, LUT filings, and other statutory requirementsStay updated with EXIM policies and trade regulations3. Logistics & Cost OptimizationNegotiate freight rates and contracts with logistics partnersMonitor shipment timelines and reduce lead timeOptimize logistics cost without compromising service4. Banking & DocumentationHandle Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and export incentivesLiaise with banks for document negotiation and complianceManage export benefits like RoDTEP, Duty Drawback, etc.5. Vendor & Stakeholder CoordinationWork closely with internal teams (Sales, Production, Finance)Manage relationships with CHA, transporters, and international clientsResolve shipment-related issues proactively6. MIS & ReportingMaintain shipment records and documentationPrepare reports on export/import performance, cost, and timelinesEnsure audit readiness for all EXIM transactionsKey RequirementsQualificationGraduate / Postgraduate Experience8–12 years of experience in EXIM operationsPreferably from manufacturing / textile / engineering industrySkillsStrong knowledge of EXIM documentation & complianceHands-on experience with customs clearance & DGFT proceduresGood negotiation and vendor management skillsStrong coordination and problem-solving abilityKey CompetenciesAttention to detailOwnership & accountabilityAbility to handle pressure and deadlinesStrong communication skillsPreferred ProfileExperience handling high-volume export operationsExposure to international markets (US, Europe, Middle East)Familiarity with ERP systems.KPIs / Success MetricsOn-time shipment deliveryReduction in logistics costZero compliance issuesTimely realization of export incentives
