CMMS Data Specialist Location: Mumbai/Kakinada We are looking for a highly experienced CMMS Data Specialist to support the implementation, optimization, and governance of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) across our offshore assets.This role is critical in driving maintenance excellence by ensuring high-quality asset data, robust maintenance strategies, and effective system utilization aligned with industry best practices.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CMMS platforms (SAP PM/MM or equivalent), maintenance and reliability engineering, and upstream oil & gas operations. You will play a key role in supporting Operations & Maintenance (O&M) excellence initiatives through data-driven decision-making and system optimization.About UsOCS Services is a leading provider of Operations & Maintenance, Asset Integrity Management, and Integrated Crew Management solutions to the global offshore energy industry.Established as a joint venture between Planet Energy and BW Offshore, OCS supports long-term offshore production assets across Singapore, India, UAE, Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire, and Nigeria.We are driven by our core values: Trust · Driven · Care · InnovationLearn more: You Will DoAs CMMS Data Specialist, you will:CMMS Implementation & Optimization • Lead implementation and upgrades of CMMS systems aligned with asset strategies • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance within the CMMS • Establish asset hierarchies, functional locations, and maintenance structuresData Management & Governance • Coordinate data collection, migration, validation, and standardization • Manage asset master data, maintenance history, BOMs, and spare parts data • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 14224Maintenance & Reliability Engineering • Support development and implementation of maintenance strategies (RCM, CBM, PM) • Conduct equipment criticality assessments using FMECA and risk matrices • Develop risk-based inspection (RBI) strategies • Integrate condition monitoring systems into maintenance plansOperational Readiness & O&M Support • Support operation readiness activities including maintenance planning and system setup • Develop maintenance plans, task lists, and strategies in CMMS (SAP PM/MM) • Assist in turnaround planning and execution • Develop SOPs, maintenance procedures, and checklistsStakeholder & Vendor Coordination • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and client teams • Support integration of procurement data and BOMs into CMMS • Engage with stakeholders to ensure smooth system adoption and usageTraining & Continuous Improvement • Deliver CMMS training programs to end users • Analyze CMMS data to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization • Conduct audits to ensure system effectiveness and complianceHSSE & Compliance • Promote and adhere to company HSSE policies and safe work practices • Support a strong safety culture across all maintenance activitiesWhat We Are Looking ForQualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) • Certification in Maintenance & Reliability (CMRP/CRE) – PreferredExperience • Minimum 10 years of experience in upstream oil & gas maintenance • Proven experience working with CMMS platforms (SAP PM/MM, Maximo, IFS, AMOS) • Experience in CMMS implementation projects is highly preferredKnowledgeStrong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles (RCM, CBM, PM)Expertise in asset hierarchy, asset register, and spare parts management Knowledge of ISO 14224 and maintenance data standardsUnderstanding of contractual and technical aspects of O&G operationsProven experience in the development, implementation, and management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) within oil & gas, offshore, marine, or industrial sectorsDemonstrated expertise in establishing asset registers, defining technical hierarchies, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies in alignment with industry standards and client requirementsSkills & Competencies • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CMMS systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach • Strong team collaboration skills in a multicultural environmentWhy Join OCS Services?At OCS Services, we support critical offshore operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.You will have the opportunity to:• Work on complex offshore assets and CMMS transformation projects • Drive maintenance excellence and digital asset management initiatives • Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions • Build a long-term career in offshore operations and asset managementReady to Apply?If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role in CMMS and asset management, we would love to hear from you.
