Senior Manager - Liaison

Location:Juhu, Mumbai Working days:Monday - SaturdayRole Overview We are hiring for a candidate with proven experience in BMC and MHADA approvals, and strong working knowledge of DCPR 2034 and redevelopment regulations. The role involves end-to-end handling of statutory approvals for residential and redevelopment projects, with extensive coordination with government authorities and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Statutory Approvals & Liaisoning Handle approvals and follow-ups with BMC (MCGM) and MHADA Prepare, submit, and track proposals for IOD, CC, OC, amendments, and revalidations Liaise with all BMC departments Coordinate MHADA-related approvals for redevelopment, rehab components, and NOCs DCPR & Redevelopment Compliance Interpret and apply DCPR 2034, local by-laws, and redevelopment norms Work on redevelopment projects (society / MHADA / cluster redevelopment) Ensure compliance related to FSI, fungible FSI, setbacks, height restrictions, fire norms, and rehab requirements Support design teams in aligning drawings with regulatory and approval requirements Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with principal architects, structural consultants, MEP, and legal teams Maintain approval trackers, statutory records, and compliance documentation Assist in resolving approval and compliance-related site issues during construction Stakeholder & Authority Management Act as the key point of contact with authorities, consultants, and developers Attend authority meetings, site inspections, and joint reviews Update management on approval timelines, risks, and dependenciesRequirements Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of hands-on liaison experience in Mumbai Strong experience dealing with BMC and MHADA In-depth knowledge of DCPR 2034 and redevelopment regulations Experience handling IOD, CC, OC, Fire, and allied statutory approvals Comfortable with fieldwork and frequent authority follow-ups Preferred Experience Redevelopment of housing societies / MHADA layouts / cessed buildings High-rise residential or mixed-use projects Ability to manage multiple approvals across parallel projects Key Skills Strong follow-up and coordination abilities Clear communication with authorities and consultants Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
