Division: Acquisition Purpose To focus on the initial founder interaction via multiple channels including email, social media, and most of all, through voice/video calls with the end goal of building rapport and overcoming initial founder scepticisms for the conversation to move forward in the Acquisitions funnel. This includes discovery of eCommerce brands, tracking brands, trends, verticals, CRM management and connecting with targets on behalf of the team. This role fits an assertive and driven entrepreneurial person who can think from the founder’s shoes right from the start. This person is highly curious, strategic and goal oriented on the get go as founders value their time above all. Best of all, the Commercial Investment Analyst needs to be adaptive enough to think on the fly for the founder to feel value in spending time with Valerie. Successful candidates have a clear path to a COE position that interfaces with Founders and manage a global brands portfolio. AccountabilitiesCollaborate with the Product Team on AI Agent development and prompt engineering to enhance Valerie's services.Monitor eCommerce trends via social platforms (Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and share weekly insights with the team via MS Teams.Manage the full cold outreach cycle — email sequences, calls, CRM, social DMs (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) — from first contact to discovery call scheduling.Research Founder reputations online to eliminate surprises for the Acquisitions team.Maintain and update CRM (HubSpot, Apollo.io, ), pipeline, waitlists, and deal stages accurately.Manage Discovery templates, Founder FAQs, onboarding materials, and intro docs in partnership with the Senior Commercial Investment Analyst.Support info gathering from Founders post-pilot signing (social, paid media, marketplace access etc.).Represent Valerie confidently and professionally — not pushy, not salesy.Manage multi-timezone scheduling and Founder expectations (under-promise, over-deliver).Continuously self-assess and improve outreach performance.
