Roles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:P&L Responsibility for the Region : Own and manage the overall P&L for the Air Freight business, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability targets.Carrier Program Leadership: Drive the execution of the company's core-carrier program across all regions in India, ensuring strong relationships and competitive pricing.Airline Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top management teams at major airlines across India.Operational Excellence: Define and achieve key operational KPIs for each region, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of air freight shipments.Global Collaboration:Assist the Global Key Account Team in fulfilling Request for Quotations (RFQs).Liaise closely with Asia-Pacific, Europe, and USA teams to optimize the Air Freight consoles program.Carrier Negotiation Support: Provide support to regional teams for effective negotiations with carriers at the Pan-India level.Sales Enhancement:Collaborate closely with the Sales Head to enhance local sales business.Identify and introduce new point-pair/sectors based on historical tonnage data to offer to existing customers, local sales teams, and the Global Account Management team.Sales Campaign Development: Introduce and drive sales campaigns for the air console business to increase overall business productivity.Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop effective market entry strategies.Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop the Air Freight team to enhance their skills and performance.
