ANY LOCATION FROM INDIA CAN APPLYTHIS JOB ROLE REQUIRES RELOCATION WITH VISA SPONSORSHIP TO DUBAI.Business Development Executive – Job Description Job Summary OMC Medical is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our growing team, to be office-based and be responsible for driving new sales in regulatory (Medical devices, cosmetics, Drugs). This position is closely aligned with internal teams and is responsible for communicating both the quality and operational benefits of services to prospective clients. Also, as part of the Business Development team, the individual in this role will contribute to the continued growth and success of OMC Medical by offering high levels of customer support to existing clients. Responsibilities Actively prospect and generate new sales and business opportunities within assigned customer territory; Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with customers and develop in depth knowledge of their organization and needs; Collaborate with internal staff regarding the development and procurement of proposals; Establish and maintain frequent contact with customers through focused client visits and presentations; Support marketing initiatives when necessary (e.g., tradeshow, symposia attendance); Maintain contacts with appropriate sales activity data within OMC Medical-sponsored Customer Relationship Management database; and Perform general strategic and tactical account planning, management, and execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Regulatory Licensing & Compliance (Primary Focus - Setup Phase): Act as the primary liaison with MoHAP, Free Zone authorities (if applicable), and other government bodies. Prepare, submit, and manage the entire application process for the Establishment License, Warehouse/Storage License, and any other required permits for dealing in medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Ensure the warehouse design, layout, security, and infrastructure (temperature control, cold chain, quarantine areas) meet all MoHAP and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) requirements. Develop, document, and implement all required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehousing, quality control, and distribution. Manage any pre-licensing inspections and ensure all corrective actions are addressed promptly. Stay updated on all changes in UAE healthcare regulations and ensure ongoing compliance. 2. Warehouse Setup & Management: Source, set up, and manage the warehouse facility, including racking, climate control systems, security, and inventory management software. Establish and manage a GDP-compliant inventory system: receiving, storage (ambient, refrigerated, frozen), picking, packing, and dispatch. Implement a First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) system and ensure strict control over batch traceability. Manage relationships with logistics and courier partners for inbound and outbound shipments. Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff on GDP, safety, and operational procedures. Oversee stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes. 3. Office Administration & Management: Oversee general office setup and administration, including utilities, supplies, and vendor management. Handle basic bookkeeping coordination with accountants, manage petty cash, and support procurement activities. Serve as a point of contact for general business correspondence and coordination. Support HR functions for initial staff onboarding related to office and warehouse personnel. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree and/or PhD. Fluent Mandarin language and English preferred. Previous experience selling within a medical device/drugs/cosmetics sector Ability to recognize the needs of the customer and collaborate with the clinical areas to develop proposals that exceed customer expectations. Must be reliable, highly-motivated, well-organized, results-oriented, customer-focused, and possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Familiar with using Share point. Proficient in Microsoft Office. An established network of contacts within the industry (preferred).
