Job Title: Assistant General Manager/ Senior Manager - LegalDepartment: Legal (Finance & Accounts)Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)Reports to: Senior General Manager - LegalTeam Size: 2 membersJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and skilled legal professional to join our team as an Assistant General Manager - Legal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring brand protection, managing legal documentation, and overseeing secretarial and compliance matters.Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal obligations- Collaborate with external lawyers on IPR, consumer, and other legal matters- Provide legal guidance on statutory and regulatory compliance- Conduct research and prepare legal opinions- Offer expert advice and recommendations to the management team- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners- Develop and deliver training programs for business teams and stakeholders- Submit periodic reports to the Head LegalRequirements:- LL.B. and CS qualifications- 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role- Retail background preferred- Experience in drafting and reviewing agreements, including lease, leave & license, and vendor/customer contracts- Knowledge of legal metrology and data privacy laws is a plusDesired Skills:- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you're a motivated and experienced legal professional looking for a challenging role, we'd love to hear from you!
