This is a strategic leadership position combining individual contributions with team management responsibilities. As the National Head - Equity Advisory for the HNI Business at Anand Rathi Shares & Securities Limited, you will spearhead the equity advisory function nationwide, driven by a deep passion for equity markets and leveraging extensive expertise in equity advisory and research. Operating in a matrix structure, you will collaborate closely with Regional Heads, Branch Managers, and cross-functional teams including institutional and retail equity research (both fundamental and technical) to deliver tailored wealth creation ideas and strategies aligned with client profiles and needs. The role requires expert-level knowledge in fundamentals, technical analysis, cash markets, and futures & options (F&O) markets. You will drive performance across HNI advisors, enhance client relationships, and contribute to business growth through revenue optimization, client acquisition, and capability building.Team Leadership and Performance Management: Lead and mentor a team of HNI advisors across metros and select Tier-A cities, driving them to achieve Key Result Areas (KRAs) including brokerage revenues, equity products sales, Margin Trading Facility (MTF) book growth, client acquisition via referrals, client activations, cross-selling opportunities, client servicing, and strengthening client relationships.Research and Product Innovation: Drive the adoption and implementation of research ideas, products, and strategies in coordination with fundamental and technical equity research teams (institutional and retail) to ensure delivery of high-impact wealth creation solutions customized to HNI/Ultra HNI client needs.Capability Building: Develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of HNI advisors through training programs, workshops, and ongoing guidance to enable them to provide world-class service to HNI and Ultra HNI clients.Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture personal relationships with the company's top clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing their unique investment requirements.Business Development Support: Assist the sales team in acquiring new clients by actively servicing prospective clients, demonstrating expertise in equity markets, and showcasing value-added advisory services.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in a matrix environment to coordinate with local leadership, including Regional Heads and Branch Managers, to align advisory efforts with regional business goals and ensure seamless execution.Market Expertise Application: Utilize deep insights into equity markets (fundamentals, technicals, cash, F&O) to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize client portfolios for long-term wealth growth.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key metrics, analyze trends, and report on advisory performance, revenue contributions, and client satisfaction to senior leadership.Required Qualifications and Experience:Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, or NISM (Series XV - Research Analyst) are highly preferred.Professional Experience: Minimum 10-15 years in equity advisory, equity research, or related roles within the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing teams focused on HNI clients.Technical Skills: Expert to advanced proficiency in fundamental analysis, technical charting, cash market operations, and derivatives (futures & options). Strong understanding of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and wealth management products.Soft Skills: Passionate about equity markets with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a matrix organization, build relationships at all levels, and drive results through influence and collaboration.Other Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed.
