Brain Bristle focuses on building inclusive school environments from the ground-up, strengthening advocacy for autism, and conducting workshops and awareness programs to expand the reach and impact of its work.Devangana Mishra, is a writer, artist, poet and the CEO of Brain Bristle.Role DescriptionThis is a position for an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. The role involves providing executive administrative support, managing the CEO's schedules, supporting daily tasks and execution of meetings, and performing general administrative assistance. This is a hybrid role, based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a few days in-person work and flexibility for remote work.Roles and Responsibilities:Administrative Support: -Manage and maintain the calendar, schedule, and commitments-Support with HR & Finance-Coordinate meetings, briefings, travel, and speaking engagements-Prepare agendas, background materials, and follow-up action points-Organize and maintain confidential files, manuscripts, and records-Anticipate priorities and proactively manage time-sensitive mattersLiterary & Creative Support -Assist with planning for book launches, readings, festivals, and literary events-Coordinate with publishers, editors, agents, and literary collaborators-Coordinate literary talks, panel discussions, workshops, and interviewsPublic Engagements & Appearances -Prepare briefing notes for public engagements and media appearances-Assist with board meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups-Coordinate with trustees, advisors, and key stakeholders-Support development of foundation programs related to autism, inclusion, and educationGovernance & Coordination Support -Track key initiatives, timelines, and deliverables across the foundation-Serve as a key point of contact for partners, educators, donors, and collaborators-Support media relations, interviews, and press coordination-Coordinate across creative and foundation projects simultaneously-Assist with budgeting, invoices, and expense trackingQualificationsBachelor’s degree (required)5+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or similar roleStrong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage complex schedules, travel, and logisticsHigh level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligenceExperience working with creative professionals and/or nonprofits (preferred)Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, Canva, AI Tools and basic project management toolsAbility to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems proactivelyInterest in or understanding of autism, inclusion, the arts and education (preferred)
