Job Description – Senior Executive (Procurement)Company: EVIO Private LimitedDepartment: ProcurementPosition: Senior Executive – ProcurementReporting To: Head – ProcurementWork Location: Mumbai Head OfficeSalary: Up to ₹75,000/- Gross per monthRole ObjectiveThe Senior Executive – Procurement will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for Electrical Turnkey Projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, cost optimization, vendor compliance, and smooth coordination with Projects, Stores, Finance, and Vendors.Key Responsibilities1. Project Procurement & ExecutionHandle procurement of Electrical materials for Turnkey Projects including:LT Panels, Cables, Wires, Cable Trays, Earthing, Lighting, Switchgear, Transformers, etc.Ensure timely material availability as per approved Project Schedules & BOQs.Coordinate with Project Managers / Site Engineers for priority material requirements.2. Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize approved vendors.Develop and maintain a strong vendor base for electrical materials.Conduct rate negotiations to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality.Periodic vendor performance review on price, delivery, and quality.3. Purchase Order & DocumentationPrepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approval matrix.Ensure correctness of:Technical specificationsCommercial termsDelivery schedulesTaxes & statutory complianceMaintain proper documentation for POs, Comparative Statements, Vendor Quotations.4. Coordination with Internal DepartmentsClose coordination with:Project Team – material planning & urgency handlingStores – GRN, material inward/outwardFinance & Accounts – billing, payment follow-ups, credit termsSupport audits and management reviews related to procurement activities.5. Cost Control & ComplianceEnsure procurement within approved budgets.Support preparation of procurement MIS reports.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Candidate ProfileExperience8 to 10 years of experience in Procurement.Experience in Electrical Turnkey Project Company (Real Estate / Industrial / Infrastructure projects preferred).EducationB.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering – PreferredDegree in any stream with strong electrical procurement exposure is acceptable.Technical KnowledgeGood knowledge of:Electrical materials & specificationsBOQs, drawings, and project execution requirementsVendor negotiation and commercial termsFamiliar with ERP / Procurement systems and MS Excel.Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor handling skillsGood coordination and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple projectsProcess-oriented with strong follow-up ability
