Senior Manager – Values-Aligned and Sustainable Investments

We are seeking a talented individual to join our investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the officeSenior Manager – Values-Aligned and Sustainable InvestmentsWe will count on you to:- Effectively support the coordination and management of new and existing client deliverables, meeting deadlines with client-ready polish and accuracy - Model existing and new client portfolios and data analytics using external software like MSCI and Nasdaq eVestment, Barra, FactSet, Bloomberg, and others - Draft and develop appropriate presentations, analyses, and other documents to assess and communicate relevant information about client portfolios - Manage portfolio updates and data analytics report generation - Support the VA/SI team to develop and implement tools and processes for organizing work and incorporating operational efficiencies - Coordinate projects and interface with different stakeholders to define, track, manage, and meet deliverables - Create work streams and coordinate custom and ongoing analysis for relevant clients and new mandates - Enhance existing tools and drive various portfolio Intelligence projects - Assist and contribute to the firm level initiatives, including automation, development of tools & methodologies, support with thought leadershipWhat you need to have:- 5+ years of work experience in a portfolio management /investment strategies/Sustainable Investments team as a researcher/PM/associate/analyst - 4+ years’ experience in global markets with inclination towards sustainable or impact investing - BE/B Tech from a top tier college and/or master’s in finance / financial engineering / Econometrics / Quantitative Finance / Economics or a related field - Prior experience in fiduciary management, asset management or investment banking with strong understanding of capital markets and institutional investors - Strong background in portfolio management, with specializing in at least one asset class - Proficient in data analysis, impact assessment, and risk management - Understanding of relevant regulations, reporting requirements, and emerging trends in different industries - Experience in conducting stakeholder engagement and managing communication strategies - Ability to understand and tailor complex information for different audiencesWhat makes you stand out- Strong attention to detail - Highly effective and self-sufficient project management skills - Proactive and effective communicator - Self-Development: Able to identify personal knowledge and skill gaps.Why join our team:- We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. - We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities. - Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Mercer is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
