Senior Functional Finance Analyst – JDE WorldsoftLocation: India (remote)Experience Level: Senior (12+ Years)Fulltime ContractSesheng LLC is seeking a highly seasoned Senior Functional Finance Analyst to support a major enterprise client. This role is designed for a subject matter expert with extensive experience in JDE Worldsoft to lead daily production support and financial operations. Beyond day-to-day maintenance, you will serve as a strategic contributor to upcoming ERP transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and migrations to next-generation platforms. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical-functional knowledge with the ability to navigate a complex, global delivery model.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support: Deliver expert-level support for JDE Worldsoft finance modules, specifically General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex functional issues, ensuring 24/7 business continuity and minimal operational disruption.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with onshore teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, documenting optimized process flows and enhancements.Financial Integrity: Facilitate month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations and high-fidelity reporting.ERP Transformation: Play a pivotal role in ERP migration and upgrade planning, performing gap analyses, functional testing, and data mapping.Compliance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous functional documentation (SOPs, user guides) and ensure all processes adhere to internal controls and audit standards.Required Skill Sets & QualificationsExperience: A minimum of 12+ years of professional experience in a functional finance role specifically focused on JDE Worldsoft.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of ERP workflows and core finance modules (GL, AP, AR).Global Delivery: Proven track record working within an offshore support model, demonstrating seamless collaboration across different time zones and cultures.Analytical Rigor: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex data validation and mapping during system transitions.Communication: Fluent professional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.Sesheng LLC and our enterprise client provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
