You'll be responsible for: Acts as SME (subject matter expert) for staff costing.Responsible for the ongoing preparation and reporting improvements of the Group's supplier payment performance.Runs the monthly reconciliation process for actual salary costs to project costings.Coordinates and manages updates to staff rate cards.Supports the redesign and streamline of the staff costing model and process.Supports Finance Business Partners during month end to resolve staff costing queries.Collaborate with GL Accountant and Payroll Accountant to ensure salary costs are being accurately reflected in P&Ls on a timely basis.Prepares and analyses monthly payment performance statistics for internal review.Prepares monthly and half yearly payment performance statistics for submission for duty to report and prompt payment code.Collaborates with AP and procurement to understand payment performance data and ensure data is representative of true payment performance.Member of the payment performance task force.Provides ad hoc financial analysis, supporting the wider finance function as and when required.Analyses invoice and payment data to identify process issues and control weaknesses.Develops working relationships with (range of) internal stakeholders.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting.Experience in the use of computer software products (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience of Oracle and Cognos TM1.Professional knowledge in financial accounting, corporation tax, income tax, GST.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
