Job Description:
Role Purpose:The FP&A Analyst will support the Piramal Finance FP&A team in financial planning, forecasting, and detailed profitability analysis across products and business segments. The role will involve working closely with business teams to provide insights on P&L performance, cost efficiency, and growth drivers, in line with Piramal Finance’s NBFC operations.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Assist in preparation and analysis of P&L statements at: Overall Piramal Finance level/ Product-wise (e.g., Retail Lending, Wholesale Lending, Secured/Unsecured products)/Business segment–wiseSupport monthly MIS, budgeting, and rolling forecasts.Perform variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget vs Forecast) and highlight key drivers.Support product profitability and unit economics analysis.Assist in tracking key NBFC metrics such as:Yield, cost of funds, NIM, credit cost, operating expense ratiosWork with business teams to understand revenue drivers, pricing, cost structures, and portfolio performance.Assist in building and maintaining financial models for new products, pricing scenarios, and growth initiatives.Prepare management dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of financial data used in reports.Support ad-hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and management reviews.Education: CA Mandatory (2024/2025 pass-out)Experience: Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience in FP&A roles.Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of P&L and financial statements.Basic understanding of NBFC / lending business models.Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, lookups, formulas).Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across finance and business teams.Good communication and presentation skills.Good to Have:Exposure to NBFC / BFSI / Financial Services domain.Knowledge of product-wise P&L, segment reporting, and MIS.Basic exposure to financial modeling or BI tools.
