Job Description: Data Analyst – Single Family Office (Mumbai)Experience Required: Prior experience in managing wealth management software is mandatoryRole OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a Single-Family Office in Mumbai. The role involves managing, onboarding, and maintaining high-quality investment and accounting data across multiple asset classes and platforms. Candidates with hands-on experience in wealth management software (especially Asset Vantage and MProfit) will be preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesData Onboarding & MaintenanceAssist the family office in onboarding investment and accounting data across all investment vehicles (initial setup and ongoing updates).Ensure accurate mapping and classification of all transactions across equities, mutual funds, bonds, PMS, AIFs, private equity, and global assets.Data Feeds & CleansingUnderstand and work with various types of data feeds received from custodians, brokers, PMS/AIF managers, and banks (India & overseas including US).Identify appropriate data sources, cleanse and standardize data to meet platform requirements.Investment & Accounting UnderstandingDevelop strong working knowledge of investment management and investment accounting concepts.Learn and understand different investment structures and transactional flows across domestic and offshore jurisdictions.Review & CoordinationCoordinate periodic data sanity checks and review sessions with the team to ensure database accuracy.Collaborate with wealth managers, AMCs, custodians, and internal teams to resolve data-related issues.Issue Tracking & System ImprovementsIdentify system issues, bugs, and mismatches in data; document them and track resolution with the technology partner.Reporting & PresentationPrepare dashboards, visual reports, and presentations summarizing portfolio insights and data trends for management review.Build automated reports and reusable templates.Technical SkillsStrong Excel skills including VBA macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data automation.Ability to prepare high-quality presentations and explain data insights clearly.Process implementation & management capability.Highly proactive and detail-focused approach.Ability to understand and explain complex investment and system-related concepts.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and execute effective solutions.Capability to streamline processes and strong willingness to learn and grow.Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in wealth management data operations.Mandatory: Experience with wealth management software.Preferred: Hands-on experience with Asset Vantage or MProfit.QualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate—MCom or relevant specialization preferred.Familiarity with investment accounting, performance reporting, and portfolio analytics.Location - Mumbai
