About the roleAs the Talent Acquisition Manager, you are responsible for sourcing, hiring and onboarding talent for The Hosteller’s Ground Operations (GO). This role shall be responsible for volume hiring of blue and grey collar roles in the Housekeeping, Kitchen and Front Office functions. It shall translate hiring plans into action, ensure timelines are met, data is clean, and all teams are staffed as per forecast. The role works closely with the TA Head on planning and analytics, and independently manages day-to-day hiring delivery, recruiter performance, and stakeholder coordination.ResponsibilitiesHiring deliveryOwn end-to-end quality hiring for assigned roles and regionsEnsure all open positions are closed within agreed timelinesEnable and maintain partnerships with agencies, campus, consultants to combat volume hiringMaintain healthy offer-to-joining conversion ratesFlag hiring risks early and propose mitigation plansHiring data & reportingMaintain accurate hiring trackers and dashboardsTrack key metrics: TAT, source effectiveness, offer drop-offs, joining ratiosShare regular hiring status with TA HeadEnsure recruiter data hygiene across trackersForecasting supportSupport TA Head with hiring forecasts based on attrition, growth, seasonalityBuild and nurture a talent pool to cater efficiently to hiring requirementsValidate ground realities with operations team and feed back into manpower plansTeam & stakeholder managementManage a team of recruiters and work closely with them ensuring delivery, high performance, and internal capability building Work closely with business teams, HRBPs, and L&DSet clear expectations on timelines, role clarity, and candidate qualityPush back constructively when requirements are unclear or unrealisticProcess & complianceEnsure adherence to hiring SOPs, approval workflows, and documentationMaintain compliance for offer letters, background checks, and joining formalitiesEscalate deviations or risks to the TA Head immediatelyQualificationsMBA/PGDM in HR or related field5-6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in the hospitality space for both blue & grey collar rolesStrong coordination, follow-up, and team management skillsComfortable with hiring data, trackers, and dashboardsCalm, structured, and accountable working styleWhy join us?Be part of a brand that’s making travel more accessible and community-driven across IndiaWork in a fun, youth-driven environment that values creativity and teamworkOpportunity to grow within India’s largest backpacking hostel networkCulture that values clarity, quick execution, ownership, and real impact
