This mix allows our staff to have arguably better learning and growth opportunities than our peersAssociate Vice President / Vice President - Financial ResearchAssociate Vice President / Vice President at Axience is hired typically from peer groups or related backgrounds, with one of the key attributes being experience and expertise in areas such as equity / credit analysis – public or private, financial modelling, valuations and investment report writing. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Work on projects such as:oSupporting private equity clients in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities; similarly, working with investment banking / corporate advisory clients in pitching investment ideasoSupporting sell / buy side equity research clients in initiating coverage, annual / quarterly maintenance of models and reports, sector studies and various thematic reportsoWork hands-on on complex projects requiring high levels of financial research expertise, as well as guide and supervise analysts- Manage projects end-to-end from scoping and execution to keeping internal stakeholders updated and communicating directly with the client - Assist in proposal preparation, work allocation among analyst team, work review and finalization of deliverables - Train, mentor and monitor junior analystsRequired skillsets- Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English) - Quantitative analytical skills - Ability to balance hands-on and hands-off approach - Should be proactive in prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects - Superior analytical, interpersonal skills and ability to dig deeper into problems and suggest solutions - Ability to work on unstructured situations and projectsRequired Background- 5+ years of relevant experience for AVP and 8+ years for VP - Prior experience of working in KPOs / captive offshore units of international investment banks / brokerage houses will be given preference - Experience in one or more of the following - Sell / buy side equity or credit research with highly developed financial modelling and report writing skills - M&A analysis (for private equity, corporate finance advisory / investment banking clients) – company and industry analysis, pitch book / IM / IC memos, financial modelling, valuations - MBA from top tier colleges with a strong academic record (top 10% in class); CFA highly preferredContactIf you have the qualification, experience, and passion for the role mentioned above, please send your CV and Cover Letter to axience.central@Other Requirements- Only Mumbai based candidates or those that are willing to relocate will be considered - Willing to Work form Office 5 days a week - Strong Academic grades and International travel experience is preferred
