Company:Honest GroupLocation:Worli, MumbaiReporting To:Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Role SummaryThe Technical Assistant to the CEO acts as a critical liaison between the CEO and the operational construction sites, ensuring seamless communication, enforcing technical standards, and driving project velocity. This role demands a high level of technical acumen in civil engineering or construction management combined with exceptional executive support and project oversight capabilities. The core focus is to translate the CEO’s strategic vision into actionable site deliverables and to provide the CEO with timely, accurate, and distilled project intelligence.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive and Strategic Support:Project Intelligence:Consolidate, distill, and present complex site reports (progress, financial risks, vendor performance) into concise, executive-level summaries for the CEO. Correspondence & Documentation:Manage all technical correspondence, including drafting high-stakes MOMs, technical requirement emails, and formal communications with VVIP clients and HNI stakeholders. Meeting Facilitation:Prepare pre-meeting materials, attend all critical site and management meetings, document Minutes of Meeting (MOMs), and ensure immediate follow-up on action items. Diary and Travel Management:Provide comprehensive calendar, meeting, and domestic/international travel support for the CEO.Technical Oversight and Project Management:Deadline Enforcement:Track and enforce critical project deadlines (e.g., coordinated drawing submissions, mobilization timelines, 20-day delivery cycles). Vendor Performance:Monitor vendor performance, escalate financial discrepancies (e.g., cost inflation issues like 23L cited as 80L), and ensure compliance with quality standards, advocating for reliable vendors even at higher costs. Site Audits and Conflict Resolution:Conduct spot checks on site to verify reported progress (e.g., Level 17 status) and actively resolve immediate technical conflicts (e.g., structural team refusals, design discrepancies). Drawing and Approval Control:Ensure all critical approvals (e.g., written approval for ceiling work, final SMG drawing sign-offs) are secured and properly documented before work commencement. Issue Triage:Serve as the first point of contact for high-priority technical issues (e.g., MBP component problems, water accumulation) and assign immediate corrective action.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is mandatory. Experience:Minimum 4-7 years of progressive experience, preferably split between hands-on site experience and corporate/executive support in the real estate or construction sector. Technical Skills:Deep understanding of construction methodologies, structural elements, plumbing, HVAC coordination, and regulatory documentation. Soft Skills:Exceptional proficiency in communication (written and verbal), complex prioritization, discretion, and ability to handle high pressure environments (calm under fire). Software Proficiency:Expert in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project Management software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar).
