Job Description (JD) – ASSISTANT MANAGER/MANAGER, CFO ServicesLocation: Kalina, MumbaiExperience: 5-7 YearsQualification: Inter CA / ACCA / ICWARole SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager/Manager, CFO Services to support and manage accounting, compliance, finance and reporting functions for multiple client entities. The role involves supervising day-to-day CFO service delivery, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, regulatory compliances, and assisting senior management in strategic financial decision-making.Key Responsibilities- Day to day accounting of clients - Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable regulations - Specific knowledge of GST returns, input credits and processes, refunds etc. and TDS, IT returns computations and filing etc is essential. - Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients for routine finance matters - Support clients in improving financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks - Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders - Review workings related to audits, assessments, and notices, refunds - Supervise and review work of junior accountants and executives - Allocate tasks, monitor timelines, and ensure quality deliverables - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS, financial statements, and management dashboards - Assist in reaching out to new clients and supporting business development initiatives - Handle onboarding of new CFO service clients, including transition and setupSkills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of accounting principles - Strong Indian statutory compliances such as Income Tax, GST, Company Law, FEMA, etc. - Hands-on experience in MIS, budgeting, and cash flow management - Proficiency in Excel and accounting / ERP software like Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, etc - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectivelyPreferred Candidate Profile- 5-7years of relevant experience in CA firm, CFO services, consulting, or corporate finance role - Inter CA / ACCA / ICWA qualified or pursuing - Experience working with startups, SMEs, or growing businesses is an advantage - Client-facing and Onboarding experience preferred
