Job Title: Lead – Financial and Regulatory ReportingLocation: Mumbai, Vikhroli/KanjurmargReports To: Chief Financial OfficerRole Overview:The Lead – Financial and Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, regulatory returns, and compliance with applicable accounting standards, RBI/NHB guidelines, and statutory requirements. The role also involves managing direct tax compliance and reporting, supporting audits, and driving process improvements in financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulatory norms. - Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of MIS for management. - Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. - Maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting.Regulatory Reporting- Prepare and submit regulatory returns to RBI/NHB and other authorities within stipulated timelines. - Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates in reporting processes. - Liaise with regulators during inspections and respond to queries promptly.Direct Tax Compliance- Ensure accurate computation of taxable income and timely filing of income tax returns. - Oversee tax audit compliance under Section 44AB and preparation of Form 3CD. - Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of returns. - Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company.Process Improvement- Drive automation and efficiency in financial and regulatory reporting processes. - Implement best practices for data accuracy and integrity.Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, etc.) for data collection and reporting. - Provide timely and accurate financial insights to senior management.Qualifications & Experience- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience. - Strong knowledge of Ind AS, RBI/NHB guidelines, and Income Tax Act. - Prior experience in NBFC/Housing Finance sector preferred. - Proficiency in financial reporting systems and MS Office.
