Job Title: Head of Research – EquityLocation: MumbaiDepartment: Institutional EquitiesRole Summary:We are hiring a dynamic professional to lead our Equity Research team. The ideal candidate will manage sector analysts, oversee research output, and ensure high-quality investment ideas are delivered to clients. This role combines team leadership, market expertise, and strategic thinking.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the equity research team across multiple sectors - Oversee research reports, idea generation, and client-ready output - Ensure timely and insightful coverage of companies and sectors - Coordinate closely with sales and trading teams to align research flow - Guide analysts on sector trends, earnings forecasts, and valuations - Represent the research team in client interactions and industry events - Maintain high research standards and regulatory complianceWhat We’re Looking For:- MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA preferred - 10–15 years of equity research experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role - Deep understanding of equity markets and sector analysis - Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills - Experience in interacting with institutional clients
