Fixed Income Trader

Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities:- Be a part of fixed income trading desk, capital market and actively trading. - Managing the proprietary trading activities in variety of fixed income instruments like government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS) and Interest Rate Futures (IRF), SDL, Corporate bonds - Exploring the new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenario and generating profitability in trading in SLR and Non SLR. - Maintaining and ensuring that regulatory guidelines and investment policy of the firm are being adhered. - Managing the relationship with representatives from Banks, Primary Dealers, Mutual Funds, Insurance funds and brokerages firms etc.Candidate Preferred:- Should be MBA in Finance/economics from premium institution/CA/ CFA (preferably) with an excellent academic record. - Extensive experience in onshore INR Macro Trading and knowledge of Indian rates market. - Should have at least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS) and Interest Rate Futures (IRF). - Well Versed with CCIL applications including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platform - Should have good understanding of Money Market and debt market along with regulatory requirement/compliance - Strong track record of revenue generation - Should have strong relationship building skills and presentation skills
