Position: Business Analyst – Custody Services Experience: 5–8 years Location: Nariman Point, MumbaiKey Responsibilities• Industry & Domain Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of custody services within capital markets; monitor trends, challenges, and regulatory changes.• Process Improvement: Map custody workflows (transaction processing, account management, corporate actions, safekeeping, reconciliation), identify gaps, and propose automation.• Technology & AI Integration: Partner with AI/ML teams to explore and implement use cases that optimize custody operations.• Solution Design & Client Engagement: Translate business needs into functional specifications; create demos and collateral for client presentations; engage directly with clients to ensure alignment of solutions.• Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute whitepapers, articles, and training sessions to position as a leader in custody technology.Qualifications & SkillsMandatory:• 5–8 years of experience in Capital Markets (brokerage, asset management, or financial institutions).• At least 2 years of direct exposure to Custody Services (transaction processing, safekeeping, account management, or corporate actions).• Strong process improvement and workflow documentation skills.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred:• Certifications: CFA, GARP, PMI, IIBA• Understanding of AI/ML applications in custody and post-trade.• Experience as a Business Analyst or Test Analyst in financial technology projects.• Knowledge of tools: SQL, Excel, Jira, Confluence.
