Job Title: School Manager, Orchid Schools, MumbaiLocation: MumbaiJob SummaryThe School Manager will be responsible for driving admissions, leading marketing initiatives, and ensuring seamless branch operations. This role demands strong leadership, strategic execution, and operational oversight to achieve enrollment targets, operational excellence, and high levels of parent satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1. Admissions Management- Drive admissions through effective lead management and parent engagement. - Monitor PRM performance, ensure timely follow-ups, and manage lead assignment. - Conduct parent counselling via online, walk-ins, and phone to convert leads into admissions. - Analyze admissions data to track performance and recommend improvement strategies.2. Branch Operations- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the school branch. - Manage fee collections, transport operations, and campus maintenance. - Oversee vendor management and ensure timely payments. - Maintain inventories, records, and operational data for reporting and decision-making. - Handle non-academic grievances of parents and staff effectively.3. Marketing & EventsPlan and execute marketing initiatives including:- Branch & RWA events - Field marketing activities- Pre-school tie-ups and other collaborations to drive leads - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize event reach and conversion. - Ensure all marketing campaigns are well-planned, executed, and tracked for outcomes.4. Parent & Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to enhance satisfaction. - Serve as the point of contact for Trustees and other stakeholders. - Resolve issues highlighted in complaint registers and follow up to closure.5. Staff Management- Track staff strength, attendance, and performance. - Facilitate recruitment and induction of school administrative staff. - Coordinate with HR on recruitment, attendance, salary processing, and staff grievances.6. Finance & Compliance- Monitor collections and petty cash; ensure proper documentation. - Track and manage vendor payments and operational expenses. - Ensure adherence to school policies and statutory compliance.7. Campus & Transport Management- Ensure overall school maintenance, including playgrounds, courts, and facilities. - Oversee transport operations, route mapping, GPRS tracking, and driver compliance (breath analyses, maintenance).Qualifications & Skills- Bachelors degree; Management, Education, or related field preferred. - 5 years of experience in school operations, admissions, or education management. - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. - Experience in marketing and events planning for education institutions is a plus. - Data-driven, with ability to analyze metrics and optimize performance. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a diverse team.Key Attributes- Result-oriented, proactive, and accountable. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Passion for education and student development. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.CTC - upto 6 LPA
