If you are as passionate as we are in making a difference and creating real impact in a fast-paced and wildly creative environment, then you might just be the person we are looking for.About the Role:The Packaging Development Executive will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions for new and existing products. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams (marketing, procurement, production) and external vendors to ensure packaging meets functional, aesthetic and sustainability requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Develop primary, secondary and tertiary packaging solutions for new and existing products. - Translate marketing and product briefs into feasible packaging concepts that meet brand identity and functionality. - Evaluate new materials, printing techniques, and packaging formats to enhance product presentation and shelf life. - Conduct packaging trials and coordinate performance testing (drop tests, stability, seal integrity, etc.). - Ensure packaging specifications comply with product safety, regulatory, and quality standards. - Work with packaging suppliers to develop prototypes and ensure timely delivery of packaging materials. - Evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate costs, and support the qualification of new suppliers. - Ensure all supplier materials meet company sustainability and compliance requirements. - Maintain packaging databases, reports, and change-control documentation. - Identify opportunities to improve packaging sustainability through material reduction, recyclability, or alternate materials. - Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or consumer experience.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of packaging materials (paperboard, laminates, labels etc.) and manufacturing processes - Familiarity with sustainability trends and regulatory norms in packaging (EPR, recyclability, etc.) - Attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability - Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEducation & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree Printing and Packaging Technology or PG Diploma in Packaging. - Experience in Poly - Single layer or Laminates is a must. - 2-4 years of experience in packaging development within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, or Pharmaceutical industry
